The San Francisco Chronicle Visuals Internship invites ambitious students and recent grads to join our Visuals team for a summer 2027 program in San Francisco. The intern will cover news, features, and sports, make photographs, capture video, edit, write captions, and report on assignments.
This role is based in San Francisco. Expect 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, with mentoring from a photographer and photo editor, and pay at $20.50 per hour.

The Visuals intern will cover a variety of news, features, sports assignments and visual essays. The intern is responsible for making photographs, capturing video, initial photo editing, writing captions and some reporting. This position is based in San Francisco.
