Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, photography, video or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of visuals experience within a news organization.
- Supervisory experience preferred and ability to coach staff.
- Ability to edit video on deadline when needed.
Responsibilities
- Edit visual content for quality, accuracy and relevance across platforms.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for daily assignments and breaking news.
- Collaborate across departments to seek out visual opportunities.
- Help manage and coach visual journalists.
- Coordinate with the audience team on initiatives to build audience.
- Daily presentation of visuals in the afternoon budget meeting.
- Editing of video projects as needed.
