UNIQLO USA is seeking a senior Visual Merchandiser to create and maintain brand standards across all store formats. Reporting to the Visual Director, you will plan, create and execute styling based on global campaigns and seasonal directions.

You will develop window displays, in-store visuals, and training for store teams to ensure a consistent customer experience and strong brand representation. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Visual Merchandising or related field, 4+ years of experience,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Exhibition Design, or a related field; Associate’s degree considered.
  • Minimum 4 years of visual merchandising management and/or styling experience with a global apparel retailer.
  • Exceptional eye for design, styling, scale, composition, and visual presentation with awareness of current fashion/retail trends.
  • Proven success developing and executing visual merchandising strategies, window displays, and creative concepts.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Visual Director, Create and Maintain our brand standards and corporate visual guidelines to maintain brand integrity. A creative individual who can plan, create and execute styling based on overall business strategy. Has a strong sense of understanding current trends and knowing how to apply them to our brand. Supports cross functionally as well as monthly window styling guidelines and store support.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute styling concepts, visual merchandising presentations, and mannequin strategies that align with global product campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and brand direction across all store formats.
  • Create visually compelling window displays, interior product presentations, and styling concepts that enhance the customer experience, drive sell-through, and support key business and KPI objectives.
  • Stay current on fashion, retail, and styling trends, translating insights into innovative merchandising concepts, styling directives, and creative solutions that support brand growth.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate company-wide styling guidelines, visual merchandising manuals, weekly styling updates, and seasonal directives based on global standards.
  • Partner with Global Visual Merchandising teams to plan, prepare, and implement seasonal merchandising presentations, campaign launches, and new visual merchandising initiatives.
  • Lead styling execution for store campaigns, new store openings, flagship locations, and other key brand initiatives, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Train, coach, and support store managers, visual teams, and store associates through styling workshops, visual merchandising schools, and ongoing education programs.
  • Identify visual merchandising opportunities and provide creative solutions that address store-specific needs while maintaining brand standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Public Relations, and other business partners to support in-store events, press previews, brand activations, and special projects.
  • Manage styling resources, including sample room organization, product preparation, prop sourcing, and purchasing to support merchandising initiatives.
  • Conduct regular competitive and market research to identify emerging trends and best practices.
  • Promote product and brand knowledge among store teams to ensure a consistent customer experience and strong brand representation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Exhibition Design, or a related field; Associate’s degree considered.
  • Minimum 4 years of visual merchandising management and/or styling experience with a global apparel retailer, preferably within a high-volume retail environment.
  • Exceptional eye for design, styling, scale, composition, and visual presentation, with a strong understanding of current and emerging fashion and retail trends.
  • Proven success developing and executing visual merchandising strategies, window displays, and creative concepts that support brand vision and drive results.
  • Ability to interpret and implement corporate visual merchandising direction while identifying opportunities and delivering creative solutions for store-specific challenges.
  • Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills, with the ability to balance brand standards and business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop teams, build strong partnerships, and inspire others through a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across corporate and store teams.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and professional, with a positive attitude and a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull or move objects of at least 25 pounds
  • Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom by repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing* Sample room maintenance by lifting, unpacking, packing and reorganizing
Schedule Requirements:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs
  • Overnights will be necessary in this position.

** US Travel may be required: 30%.**

**Salary: $107,000 - $111,000* annually**

The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
