Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, MS is seeking a Graphic Designer/Photographer to join our Marketing & Public Relations team. This entry-level role blends graphic design, photography, and visual storytelling to showcase the people and stories that make MRC special.

You'll design content for social media, campaigns, and print, shoot and curate photography, and help maintain brand consistency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Photography, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Photography skills and an understanding of lighting, composition, and image editing.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and what makes visual content engaging.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, collaborative, dependable, and eager to learn.
• A portfolio of graphic design and/or photography work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Graphic Design & Content Creation: Create engaging visual content for social media, digital campaigns, websites, and other communications.
• Graphic Design & Content Creation: Design print materials including flyers, brochures, posters, mailers, and promotional materials.
• Graphic Design & Content Creation: Develop internal marketing and communication materials for departments throughout the organization.
• Graphic Design & Content Creation: Help bring marketing campaigns and creative concepts from idea to finished product.
• Photography: Capture high-quality photographs of patients, employees, events, and activities that tell the MRC story.
• Photography: Photograph content for use in social media, marketing materials, publications, websites, and internal communications.
• Photography: Help maintain, organize, and grow MRC's library of photography and other visual assets.
• Brand & Creative Development: Ensure visual content follows MRC brand standards and maintains a consistent look and feel.
• Brand & Creative Development: Collaborate with the Marketing & Public Relations team to develop fresh creative ideas and visual concepts.
• Brand & Creative Development: Contribute ideas that strengthen MRC's visual presence across print and digital platforms.
• Team Support & Collaboration: Respond to internal design requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Team Support & Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to support content calendars, campaigns, events, and organizational initiatives.
• Team Support & Collaboration: Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
