Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Visual to bring the brand to life through merchandising, store presentation, and operational excellence. You’ll lead the visual team on seasonal floorsets, SKU flow, and back-of-house organization while partnering with Operations and store leadership on daily operations and budget management.

You will mentor and train the visual team, develop product knowledge, and deliver compelling storytelling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the Store Leader, manage and delegate workload and ensure execution of plans and strategies across the store and in assigned area.
• Align with the management team on store business goals as well as the company mission, goals and initiatives to all store associates.
• Partner with the Store Leader to establish and communicate all critical metrics and expectations within the store, including sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, HR, payroll/scheduling and training.
• Analyze reporting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly and prepare information relating to and/or affecting sales, productivity and budget to communicate to the area, region or national levels.
• Focus on promoting and driving sales as they pertain to, or are driven by, position and acting as the Leader on Duty (LOD).
• Collaborate with direct reports to promote the customer experience and a strong sense of teamwork; ensure safety and efficiency across all associates.
• Coach, teach, train, recognize and manage all aspects of performance and development for all store associates to encourage professional growth.
• Ensure all customers are provided gracious, quick and efficient service; model a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and the company.
