Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Visual Merchandising Specialist to optimize store layouts and create compelling displays that showcase the full IKEA range. You will apply space planning tools and REVIT-based design to deliver simple, cost-efficient solutions.

The role requires 2–3 years of visual merchandising in retail home furnishings (associate degree preferred). Hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday with some weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Autodesk REVIT software is a requirement.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with visual merchandising in retail home furnishings sector or similar
  • Associate’s degree preferred

  • Maintains an organized and visually appealing environment for our customers.
  • Creates and maintains visual displays.
  • Devises, implements and executes effective merchandising strategies.

What you'll be doing day to day



  • Implements and innovates upon store layout plan in order to best present the product range.

  • Maintains an organized and visually appealing environment for our customers.

  • Creates and maintains visual displays.

  • Utilizes space planning tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design.

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Full-Time


BENEFITS ELIGIBLE? Yes


HOURS – 34-40 hours per week. Must have complete open work availability from Mondays to Fridays between 7:00AM-3:30PM. (Some weekends are required, depending on the needs of the business)


The hourly pay rate range for this role is $23.23-$32.82

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 23.23 USD to 32.82 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
