Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a visually focused team member to support floor readiness and merchandising initiatives in a multi-level luxury department store. You will aid in presentation, signage, and trunk show setup, while sustaining replenishment on floors and wall units.

A portfolio of past projects and carpentry/painting skills are highly valued. The role emphasizes proactive, solution-oriented work with a strong grasp of current fashion and trends, complemented by proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years visual team experience in a major multi-level department store, with a portfolio of past projects.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experienced in painting techniques.
• Experience with basic production, knowledge of materials.
• Experienced in styling and fashion pulls.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate initiative and urgency in “selling floor readiness” prior to store opening.
• Follow directives and guidelines from Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team.
• Execute promotional and sale setup including presentation, lettering, and signage on the sales floor; assist trunk shows and personal appearance setups.
• Assist in replenishing merchandise on the selling floor and in wall units.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Salary Range $22.61 - $28.26*
