Job summary

Furniture Mart USA in Mason City, IA, is seeking a part-time Visual Merchandiser to design layouts of showroom displays and create inviting first impressions for customers. You will receive, replenish, and display furniture and accessories, develop new display elements, and participate in ongoing training.

The role requires ability to lift up to 75 lbs and an Associate’s Degree in Visual Merchandising or related experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs or more.
• Associate’s Degree in Visual Merchandising/related field or experience as a Visual Merchandiser
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Interior design ability and creative

Responsibilities

• Design layouts of merchandise displays within our store to create a strong first impression.
• Receive, replenish, and display showroom furniture/accessories.
• Create new displays and design elements to refresh the showroom.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with display trends.

Starting Wage: $18/hour

Summary:

Use your unique and creative talents to design layouts of merchandise displays within our store. Make a positive difference by creating the customers’ first impression!

• Part Time (~20 hours/week): Monday, Wednesday, Friday preferred
• Receive, replenish, and display showroom furniture/accessories
• Create new displays and design elements
• Participate in on-going training
