Altar'd State is seeking a Visual Merchandising Leader to partner with the Store Leader to bring the brand vision to life through inspiring merchandising, impactful displays, and compelling window presentations. You will create a welcoming environment that supports sales and guest experience.

You will develop associates, lead visual standards, oversee floor sets and window prep, and collaborate with district leadership to drive results while upholding the brand aesthetic and seasonal campaigns.

**Position Overview**The Visual Merchandising Leader partners with the Store Leader to bring the brand vision to life through inspiring merchandising, impactful displays, and compelling window presentations. The Visual Merchandising Leader sets the standard for visual excellence by working through people to result in an exceptional store experience. **People*** Fosters a guest-focused team environment through driving volume and anticipating guest needs.* Achieves excellent guest service by role-modeling company service standards.* Proactively provides timely feedback to associates, rewards and recognizes performance to drive retention.* Holds self and associates accountable for achievement of financial results and performance standards.* Manages conflict and coaches by applying the company's recommended processes, standards and guidelines.* Empowers and involves associates in decision-making processes.* Receives feedback and fosters dialog around solutions.* Develops associates through an individualized approach by matching talent with tasks, delegating and challenging on results.* Fosters team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributions.* Leads by managing through change and adversity.* Makes recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations of team members based on performance.* Co-leads the back-of-house support team with the Operations ASL* Develops and trains visual merchandisers on visual standards, fixture guidelines, product placement SOPs, composition, color story building, pattern mixing, and mannequin styling.* Facilitates onboarding and ongoing team development using the Weekly Merchandiser Workbook, SMART goal setting, and weekly DOR walkthroughs to establish clear 30-, 60-, and 90-day action plans.* Coaches visual merchandisers on analyzing business reports (WSSR, DSR, Health Check) and visual metrics drivers to make purposeful merchandising decisions that drive sales performance. **Process*** Consistently meets or exceeds store and individual goals and contributes to the store's overall goals.* Partners with the back-of-house Operations Assistant Store Leader to support product flow through SOP execution of back-of-house organization, shipment processing, product placement and replenishment.* Analyzes store business using company reporting tools to identify merchandising opportunities within product placement, outfitting and stock levels.* Co- leads the product replenishment process to ensure size tier is effectively met.* Teach standards of product flow, merchandising and product knowledge to the team.* Adheres to loss prevention practices and reports potential incidents to ensure shortage control in order to protect Company assets.* Communicates effectively with the Visual District Leader and District Leader..* Leads forward thinking approach to the guest experience through merchandising, seasonal window installations and in-store marketing, **Presentation*** Utilizes and manages the use of weekly reporting to track, analyze and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales.* Interprets Home Office visual communication through Store Leader/ Visual District Leader/ District Leader partnership.* Partners with Visual Merchandisers to oversee and lead the floorset execution, window prep and installation, floor planning and the overall visual environment.* Conduct weekly mannequin updates.* Leads and executes the sorting process on a daily/weekly basis.* React to product and presentation based on the needs of the business.* Maintains an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicates with the team.* Leads placement of new product.* Communicates product performance observations and offers feedback to the Store Leader. **Qualifications*** 1 year Leadership experience.* 2+ years Merchandising experience.* Bachelor's Degree preferred.* Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling or squatting frequently.* May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location.* Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
