La-Z-Boy Incorporated, a leading furniture retailer, seeks a Visual Merchandiser to execute brand-aligned in-store displays and drive sales across multiple markets. You will manage product placement, transfers between stores and distribution centers, and plan floor moves for furniture and seasonal displays, ensuring safety and aesthetic standards.

The role involves collaboration with store teams, new openings, remodels, and high-visibility events, with one remote work-from-home day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement in-store visual presentations that align with brand standards and manage merchandise transfers between stores and distribution centers.
• Oversee clearance and floor inventory levels in collaboration with the Market Sales Manager on store needs.
• Execute regular floor moves for furniture and seasonal displays, ensuring timely and efficient execution of visual merchandising directives.
• Serve as the primary contact for store merchandising initiatives, ensuring clear communication and effective implementation.
• Ensure visual displays are maintained in a clean, safe, and attractive condition, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with store teams to maintain high merchandising standards and solve any issues that arise during implementation.
• Lead and assist with new store openings, remodels, visual enhancements, acquisitions and store closings and high impact sales events ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Train store teams on recovery plans, and best practices for maintaining displays

The role also involves analyzing market trends, collaborating with sales teams, and facilitating new store openings, remodels, and visual enhancements according to the creative directive.This role will responsible for merchandising several stores including but not limited to stores in AL, TN and MS including Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Jackson, Hoover, Greystone, Chattanooga, and Montgomery.
