Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a production worker to support daily manufacturing tasks in our Connecticut facility. You will perform basic production tasks without machines, handle and move materials, and assist Machine Operators as needed.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, operating basic hand tools, and reporting unsafe conditions to ensure reliable production. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to lift medium-heavy objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Clear communication in English.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• This position requires export control compliance: a "US Person."

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support production processes by performing a limited range of defined basic production task, without using machines or tools.
• Perform supportive tasks related to production, under direct supervision, e.g.:
• Handle and move material, parts, semi-products or components within production.
• Operate basic hand tools such as saws, shovels, rakes, etc..
• Support Machine Operators in stocking or reloading the machines.
• Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions write clear communication in English
• Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R.
