Job summary

Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation seeks a Visual Inspection Program Leader to provide technical leadership and governance for manual and automated visual inspection systems in sterile manufacturing scenarios. You will guide PoD studies, defect standards, and inspection validation while interfacing with clients and regulators.

The role requires senior technical expertise in MVI/AVI, defect classification, and AQL strategies, with demonstrated cross-functional leadership and quality system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific or technical discipline
• Master's degree or advanced technical education preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality, visual inspection, validation, technical operations, or related discipline
• Experience leading cross-functional technical projects from strategy and planning through execution
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections, customer audits, deviations, investigations, CAPA, change controls, and other quality systems activities as a technical SME

Responsibilities

• Own and provide technical leadership for the Visual Inspection Program, including strategy, governance, standards, procedures, protocols, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop, review, approve, and maintain technical documentation supporting visual inspection activities including training, qualification, defect standards, test sets, AQL strategies, MVI/AVI strategies, and validation protocols
• Lead defect classification, reject trending, particulate identification initiatives, and develop defect standards representing actual manufacturing defect populations
• Evaluate program performance using statistical and data-driven approaches and translate findings into actionable improvements
• Partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements and upstream particulate control strategies
• Serve as SME during client and regulatory audits ensuring alignment with FDA, USP, PDA standards
• Provide SME support for manufacturing operations, deviations, investigations, and root cause analysis
• Drive project execution across lifecycle including planning, timelines, and cross-functional resource management
• Lead and mentor team members, promoting talent development and performance guidance
