Job summary

Aafes is seeking a part-time Visual Merchandiser/Display Associate at Fort Meade to plan and execute retail, food and services displays across Exchange installations. You will help create signage and merchandise presentation programs to enhance the customer experience and brand loyalty.

The role supports the VM team, including social media management and public affairs, and requires a high school diploma, display design experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or the equivalent.
• Experience or training in designing, drawing, and assembling sales promotion merchandise displays.
• Knowledge of computer creative software is preferred.
• Must have valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, establishing and maintaining all retail, food and services displays, signing and merchandise presentation programs at multiple Exchange installations.
• Creates a positive environment that drives sales growth and increases customer experience and Exchange brand loyalty.
• Assist Visual Manager in all VM team roles, including social media management and public affairs.

Job Qualifications

ASSISTS IN THE PLANNING, DEVELOPING, ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING ALL RETAIL, FOOD AND SERVICES DISPLAYS, SIGNING AND MERCHANDISE PRESENTATION PROGRAMS AT MULTIPLE EXCHANGE INSTALLATIONS. CREATES A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT DRIVES SALES GROWTH AND INCREASES CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND EXCHANGE BRAND LOYALTY. ASSISTS VISUAL MANAGER IN ALL ROLES ASSIGNED TO THE VM TEAM, INCLUDING SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS. VM TEAM ASSISTS WITH STORE EVENTS. DEPENDING ON OPERATIONAL NEEDS, THE VM TEAM MAY ASSIST THE STORES IN OTHER CAPACITIES AS WELL.
