Job summary

IMDiversity Inc. is seeking a Visual Design, Emerging Talent Intern to join the Office of Talent Acquisition in New York. The role focuses on creating a library of reusable design assets, branded materials for career fairs, and engaging visuals aligned with our Emerging Talent branding.

This onsite internship requires 20+ hours per week and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. The position emphasizes collaboration, strong design skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while following

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong visual design skills with typography, layout and color theory.
• Portfolio of design work is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic skills in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.
• Organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Designing presentation templates and branded decks used across internship programs and info-sessions.
• Creating branded materials for career fairs and university events.
• Designing flyers, signage, and digital assets for internal and external events.
• Developing iconography, illustrations, and visuals aligned with Emerging Talent branding.
• Supporting social and digital content needs for talent program spotlights and campaigns.
• Updating and maintaining visual consistency across program documents, guides, and onboarding materials.
• Assisting with layout design for internal communications in MailChimp.
• Supporting motion graphics or basic video edits for promotional content.
• Collaborating to ensure accessibility and brand guidelines are met.
• Performing additional design-related tasks as assigned.
