Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Management, or other technical field.
• 6 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Existing/Current Comp TIA Security+ 701 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Knowledge and expertise for this level usually results from internal progressive experience.

Responsibilities

• Select, test, and integrate computer system hardware components supporting real time Image Generator (IG) systems.
• Develop, document, and deploy installation, upgrade, and systems administration procedures and processes.
• Ensure proper IG performance through validation and testing of operating system, component driver, and application updates.
• Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Support end users. Troubleshoot issues.
• Proactively keep management informed of status, issues, and risks.
• Performs periodic audits of IG systems to ensure compliance with standards and DoD requirements.
• Performs Information Assurance / Cybersecurity oversight and liaison with customers for production devices delivered to DoD, including obtaining ATO at delivery and sustain ATO with upgrades.
• Make recommendations for enhancements or improvements to IT security based on current standards, emerging threats, and DoD requirements.
