Job summary

CesiumAstro, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Visual Communication Specialist to format and produce presentation slides and support the company’s content library. You will work under the Senior Graphic Designer to create slides, diagrams, and graphics aligned with CesiumAstro’s brand, while building technical knowledge of our products.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in presentation or graphic design, strong typography and layout abilities, and a collaborative mindset to partner with Marketing,

Qualifications

• Proficiency with PowerPoint for design, information design, and content organization.
• Ability to apply brand and design standards consistently across communications.
• Ability to translate technical content into clear visuals with guidance from seniors.

Responsibilities

• Format and produce presentation slides for business development, recruiting, marketing, and internal use, following templates and brand standards.
• Assist in designing and updating slide layouts, diagrams, charts, and icons for the library.
• Handle rapid design requests under general supervision.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback into revisions.
• Deliver polished materials on schedule to keep the library current and consistent.
• Organize and maintain CesiumAstro’s presentation library and slide repository.
• Support version control and ensure access to current content.
• Archive outdated materials and improve templates and systems for efficiency.
• Design marketing collateral such as one-pagers and digital graphics under Senior Designer guidance.
• Build working knowledge of CesiumAstro products to ensure accurate visuals.
• Follow content review processes to ensure accuracy, branding, and confidentiality.

In this position, you will support CesiumAstro’s presentation and content library under the direction of the Senior Graphic Designer. This role formats and produces slides, templates, and supporting visual assets for internal, business development, recruiting, and marketing use, applying established brand and design standards. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in visual design and PowerPoint, works well within defined processes, and is eager to build technical knowledge of CesiumAstro’s products through close collaboration with more senior designers and subject matter experts.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Format and produce presentation slides for business development, recruiting, marketing, and internal use, following established templates and brand standards.
• Support the Senior Graphic Designer in designing and updating slide layouts, diagrams, charts, and icons for the presentation library.
• Support rapid-turnaround design requests from Business Development and Marketing under general supervision.
• Incorporate feedback from Marketing, Business Development, and Engineering stakeholders into slide revisions.
• Deliver polished, accurate presentation materials on schedule, supporting a consistent and up-to-date presentation library.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining CesiumAstro’s presentation library and slide repository.
• Support version control and help ensure access to current, approved content.
• Help archive outdated materials and identify opportunities to improve templates and systems for efficiency and consistency.
• Design supporting marketing collateral, including one-pagers, digital graphics, and trade show materials, under the direction of the Senior Graphic Designer.
• Build working knowledge of CesiumAstro’s products and technologies to support accurate visual communication.
• Follow established content review processes to help ensure accuracy, branding, and confidentiality standards are met.

Job Requirements And Minimum Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in presentation design, graphic design, or marketing communications.
• Working knowledge of typography, layout, and visual storytelling principles.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint for presentation design, information design, and content organization.
• Ability to apply established brand and design standards consistently across all visual communications.
• Basic understanding of how to translate technical or business content into clear visuals, with support from senior team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple design requests, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver polished, accurate work on schedule.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Development, and Engineering partners.
• Initiative to identify and flag opportunities for improving templates, systems, and content organization.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Receptiveness to feedback and ability to incorporate revisions efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in aerospace, defense, government, technology, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries.
