Job summary

Pottery Barn in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Store Supervisor to support management in delivering World-Class service, ensure proper staff coverage, and maintain store standards.

You will lead styling, merchandising, and visual displays, coach associates, and promote the brand lifestyle while fostering a fair, collaborative environment. 1-3 years merchandising experience required; 1-2 years home design/visual merchandising preferred.

Skills/Knowledge
  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandising or visual role
  • 1-2 years experience in home related design or visual merchandising preferred. Specialty retail preferred
  • Effective communication, organization and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift & mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment & safety techniques
  • Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business.
  • Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend** (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday). For an associate to be scheduled 20 hours or more weekly, greater availability (beyond the minimum required above) that meets the needs of the business will be required. **Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday).

EDUCATION: College degree preferred or equivalent job experience.
