Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a dynamic Visual Team member to ensure peak store presentation and readiness. You will implement promotional setups, signage, and styling alongside the Corporate Visual team, maintaining the luxury brand standard across our Atlanta locations.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of visual merchandising experience, carpentry and painting skills, plus strong fashion trend knowledge, with proficiency in MS Office and related tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years visual team experience in a major multi-level department store.
• Portfolio of previously created projects preferred.
• Familiarity with carpentry tools, painting techniques, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate initiative and urgency in selling floor readiness before store openings.
• Follow directives from Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team.
• Execute promotional and sale set-ups including signage and lettering; assist trunk shows.
• Assist replenishment of merchandise on selling floor and wall units.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

YOU WILL BE:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency in "selling floor readiness" prior to the store opening.
• Follow all directives and corporate guidelines set forth by the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team.
• Execute all aspects of promotional and sale set-up including presentation, lettering, and signage on the sales floor, as well as assist the Sales Support Team with all trunk shows and personal appearance set-ups and preparation.
• Assist in replenishing merchandise on the selling floor and in wall units.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Minimum of 2 years visual team experience in a major multi-level department store, possessing a portfolio of previously created projects
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently
• Experienced in painting techniques
• Experience with basic production, knowledge of materials
• Experienced in styling and fashion pulls
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends
• Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator is preferred
