Qualifications

• Active police officer certification; license within 90 days of hire.

• Basic computer skills, good oral, interpersonal and written communications.
• Minimum one year security or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs security and safety rounds as assigned.
• Insures that offices and suites are secured.
• Responds to calls for service promptly.
• Reports suspicious activity to Lead Security Officer.
• Identifies hazards and takes corrective measures or alerts supervisor.
• Completes written incident reports and secures patient valuables.
• Uses department camera to document incidents.
• Pickup hours at Acute care facilities as needed.
• Role primarily includes visitor management and related duties.
