Job summary

Auburn University invites applications for a visiting assistant clinical professor of veterinary clinical pathology in the Department of Pathobiology. This 12-month, clinical-track position is a limited-term appointment in a dynamic teaching hospital setting.

The successful candidate will lead clinical diagnostic services, contribute to training residents and graduate students, and participate in didactic teaching and collaborative research across the veterinary curriculum.

Qualifications

• D.V.M. or equivalent required at start of employment.
• Residency in clinical pathology recognized by the ACVP.
• ACVP Diplomate status in Veterinary Clinical Pathology.
• Terminal degree required at employment start.
• Eligibility to work in the United States at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical diagnostic service in the Clinical Pathology Laboratory.
• Train and supervise clinical pathology residents and graduate students; teach veterinary students.
• Engage in didactic teaching and collaborative research opportunities.
