The Ohio State University’s Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology seeks a Visiting Scholar in the Hasanov Lab to conduct cancer research, analyze high-dimensional omics data, and support the team with bioinformatics expertise. You will contribute to publications and mentor colleagues, advancing tumor immunology studies.

Location is the Pelotonia Research Center; term is fixed. Candidates should have MD or PhD in related fields, strong programming skills, and a track record in cancer genomics

Qualifications

• MD or PhD in a related field (Computational Biology, Population Genetics/Genomics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
• Experience with single-cell and spatial data analysis tools and techniques.
• Deep knowledge of tumor biology and immunology.
• Strong publication record.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
