  • Assist in intake of all campers on Arrival Day, including health screening and lice check.

Camp Description: The Berkshire Soccer Academy is a private overnight soccer camp for girls. We offer an elite training experience for girls, ages 8-17, in a traditional camp setting on a private lake in the Berkshires.

Scope of Work

Our two weekly Nurses take a lead role in our Health Center, working alongside the Athletic Trainers and Wellness Specialists. Nurses will manage the day-to-day operation of our health center and will work closely with and will be provided guidance by the Camp Directors. A typical day for the Health Center staff may begin as early as 7:00AM and end as late as 10:00PM. All staff receive regularly scheduled breaks, as well as 1 scheduled day off for every 6 working days.

Responsibilities include:

  • Caring for ill or injured patients who are admitted to the Health Center
  • Reviewing camper health history forms prior to camper arrival
  • Sorting and dispensing medication to campers
  • Responding to any "emergency" which may arise at camp
  • Maintaining health logs for each camper and staff member
  • One member of the health staff will be “on-call” every night
  • Assist in In-take of all campers on Arrival Day; this includes a health screening and lice check.
