Job summary

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, Department of MPCS, invites applications for a visiting assistant professor in Mathematics starting Aug 15, 2026. The department currently includes 29 full‑time faculty teaching Math, IT, Physics and Statistics.

Responsibilities include teaching assigned math courses (12 credit hours per term), using Canvas, holding office hours, and engaging in faculty development. The appointment is not H-1B eligible and UC offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Math, Math Education, or a related field with at least 18 credits of graduate‑level math courses.
• One academic year of teaching experience in math at the college level (TA/adjunct/full-time).

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned preparatory and undergraduate courses in Math.
• Use Canvas and other technologies relevant to classroom pedagogy.
• Hold regular office hours to meet with students.
• Engage in professional development in the discipline, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.
