The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University invites applications for the Gerhard R. Andlinger Visiting Fellows Program, with start dates as early as August 2026.

The visiting fellows are visitors-in-residence who will enrich the Center and support its core mission on campus. Successful candidates bring in-depth energy and environmental expertise and may teach, lecture, or lead seminars in collaboration with Princeton faculty, with in-person work on campus at

Qualifications

• In-depth expertise in energy and environmental issues.
• Ability to engage with a broad academic community.
• Experience across industry, government, academia, and/or NGOs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of activities to engage with the Andlinger Center and the broader Princeton community to enrich research and/or education.
• Foster collaborations supporting team research with multiple affiliated faculty and staff on core energy/environment topics.
• Guest lecturing or teaching an ENE course or giving lectures with approval by Princeton's Dean of the Faculty.
• Presenting and organizing talks or workshops to broaden expertise among faculty, researchers, and students.
