Candidates should have strong interest in teaching courses (not all) preferably in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, and be able to teach a class or two in traditional IS courses such as Introduction to IS, Database Management and IT Innovation and Strategy with AI. The candidate should demonstrate skills in more current areas such as advanced analytics, programming languages in Python, emerging and disruptive technologies such as Blockchain and generative artificial intelligence. The minimum teaching load is 3:3 and maximum is 4:4. The new faculty member will also be involved in design and support of any new undergraduate programs related to INSY and AIBU as well as graduate programs such as the MBA and certificates. Most critically, candidates with a strong publication record/potential are particularly desirable.
