Job summary

Acenda Integrated Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a Visitation Aide. The role facilitates and supervises family visits to promote healthy parent-child interactions, including transporting children and preparing families for visits.

Responsibilities include documentation, communication with stakeholders, and modeling appropriate behavior. Minimum 1 year experience with children and families; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with children and families, especially families involved with child welfare or trauma.
• Preferred degree in counseling-related field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise visits between parents, resource parents, and children.
• Escort and transport children to and from visits.
• Provide visit prep discussions and post-visit debriefings.
• Maintain timely documentation and communication with stakeholders.
• Model appropriate interactions and support family engagement.
• Ensure safety during visits and intervene as needed.
