Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a water-related discipline with distinguished scholarly activity.
• 10+ years of leadership in academia or government centers.
• Proven ability to secure external funding and build partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of SCWRC research and Extension activities.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive SCWRC strategic plan.
• Acquire external funding to support projects.
• Mentor faculty and staff with vision for initiatives.
• Establish a foundation for fundraising.
• Manage SCWRC operations, budget, facilities, and resources.
• Foster inclusion and collaborative engagement.
