• terminal degree in architecture, design, or closely related field

• capacity to engage in fundraising and external relationships

Responsibilities

• Provide energetic, visionary leadership as Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design.
• Direct program oversight, strategic planning, and collaboration with UH leadership.
• Recruit, appoint, promote, and retain faculty while maintaining integrity of processes.
• Oversee budget, allocate resources, and manage facilities and staff.
• Represent the college to external constituents and donors and lead fundraising efforts.
