Job summary

Central Valley School District is seeking a Vision Support Specialist to support students with visual needs within our classrooms and school programs. This classified position offers standard school benefits and a structured schedule.

Work hours are 7 hours per day, 190 days per year, from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM, with Braille training provided. Paraeducator experience is preferred, and employees may participate in SEBB benefits and state retirement programs.

Job Description for Vision Support Specialist

Classified Salary Schedule CVSD’s classified positions come with more than just a paycheck! In addition to competitive hourly rates, we provide a paid lunch for classified (non-teaching, non-administrative) employees, an added benefit that boosts total worked vs. paid compensation by 6-10% for those working more than 4.25 continuous hours per day.

Benefits:

• Employees anticipated to work more than 630 hours per year are eligible for benefits through the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB).
