Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Product Design Engineer to take ownership of the mechanical design of parts, assemblies and modules for Apple Vision products.

You will drive analysis, assembly and reliability from concept through prototyping and testing, while coordinating with vendors to bring designs to life. You will work with Industrial Design, Project Management, Manufacturing, EE, Display, Camera, Antenna, Battery, Softgoods, Human Engineering, Human Factors and Safety teams to ensure robust

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 3+ years of hands-on consumer electronics product design experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and GD&T applications.
• Experience with materials selection and manufacturing processes.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors for DFM/DFX processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design of parts, assemblies and modules for Apple Vision products.
• Lead analysis, assembly, and reliability activities across the design cycle.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design, Manufacturing, EE, Display, and other teams.
