Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is hiring a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a Goodyear, AZ school-based role. The position focuses on direct and consultative special education services for students with visual impairments, including Braille instruction, IEP development, and collaboration with school staff.

Compensation ranges from $57 to $62 per hour for a school-year, onsite schedule. Requires US work authorization and AZ teaching certifications for visual impairments.

Qualifications

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Must meet Arizona Department of Education certification requirements.
• Arizona provisional, standard or reciprocal Special Education certification in Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision impairment-focused instruction aligned to IEP goals.
• Interpret eye medical reports for educational contexts.
• Develop and revise IEPs; coordinate with therapists and teachers as needed.
• Provide Braille, enlarged or tactile materials as appropriate.
• Maintain pupil records and progress notes; attend IEP/504 meetings.
