Job summary

Walmart's Vision Center in Arlington, TX is seeking an optician or apprentice optician to drive sales by ensuring engaging merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing and in-stock inventory, and by delivering friendly, knowledgeable customer service.

You will supervise and develop Associates, train staff, assist with measurements and prescription verification, and maintain confidential records while upholding company policies and integrity in all actions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience with 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandising, pricing, signing and inventory management.
• Oversee and guide Associates on customer service approaches to resolve issues per Company guidelines.
• Ensure policy compliance, asset protection, and safety controls; monitor quality assurance and performance.
• Coordinate outreach and community involvement; develop relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00*
