Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD program with focus on computer vision or related field.
• Willingness to relocate to internship base location as required.
• Experience programming in Java, Python, C or C++; publications or thesis in relevant area preferred.
• Must be eligible for full-time internship (40 hours/week) for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for visual intelligence and computer vision tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into production-ready solutions.
• Contribute to technical white papers and roadmaps; support production-level projects for Amazon services.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate research, evaluation, and prototyping; review outputs critically.
