Job summary

Obsidian is seeking a Domain Expert in Diagnostic Imaging (Visage 7 Research) to join our imaging informatics team in Nashville. You will apply frequent Visage 7 usage and perform study interpretation, measurements, and workflow management to ensure accurate, complete, and ready-to-sign reports.

The role requires 2+ years in radiology or imaging operations, with advanced knowledge of imaging protocols, study status transitions, and QA practices, supported by appropriate credentials (e.g.,

Qualifications

• Frequent Visage 7 use (weekly or more) in your current or recent role.
• 2+ years of professional experience in diagnostic radiology, imaging technology, imaging operations or PACS/imaging informatics.
• Familiarity with study status transitions and the preliminary-versus-final distinction.
• One of the listed credentials (MD/DO with radiology training or ARRT/RDMS/NMTCB or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Confirm imaging records reflect actual acquisitions and conclusions, especially during handoffs.
• Work out the current imaging position as of the study date and record follow-up recommendations.
• Distinguish session-only actions from those persisting to the record.
• Judge completeness and readiness of records for next reader or conference.
• Ensure outcomes are traceable, reproducible, and auditable.
