Job summary

OncoveryCare, Inc. is seeking a Survivorship Behavioral Health Clinician to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health care to cancer survivors.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, NPs, care navigators and peer guides, delivering individual and group therapy through a collaborative care model. You will be licensed in New York or Tennessee and provide virtual care to patients as part of a startup focused on transforming survivorship care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical experience in psycho-oncology or survivorship care.
• Active license in NY or Tennessee (LCSW/LMFT).
• Proficiency in CBT and ACT modalities.
• Excellent communication, empathy and active listening.
• Availability for a full-time 40 hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine mental health needs of cancer survivors and monitor progress.
• Administer evidence-based survivorship therapy to individuals and groups.
• Collaborate with survivorship care team to address mental health within patient history and experiences.
• Support implementation of collaborative cancer survivorship care program (CoCM).
• Develop comprehensive care plans and provide behavioral health expertise.
• Deliver psychoeducation to survivors and families using OncoveryCare materials.
