Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• CA SLP license (SLP) required.
• ASHA CCCs required or preferred.
• 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3–18.
• Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred.
• Pediatric experience and strong clinical/interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with K-12th grade clients.
• Assess and support speech, articulation, fluency, and language development.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement interventions.
• Conduct assessments and report on voice, speech, and fluency.
• Develop child- and family-centered treatment plans.
• Participate in and/or conduct IEP meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with K-12th grade school aged clients
• Assist and evaluate students in the areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language development
• Collaboration with classroom teachers and other school personnel to implement interventions
• Conducting assessments reporting on areas of strength and areas of improvements in regards to aspects voice, speech and fluency
• Develop unique treatment plans that are child and family first mentality
• Participate and/or conduct IEP meetings
• Flexible Scheduling
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

• CA Speech Language Pathology Therapy (SLP) license
• ASHA CCC's
• A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3-18
• Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred
• Pediatric Experience
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
