Job summary

Parallel is a national, tech-forward provider delivering specially designed instruction for students with IEPs. This fully virtual role supports 5th–8th grade students with mild to moderate disabilities from a dedicated home workspace.

You will collaborate with families and schools, using instructional technology to support reading, math, executive function and life skills while maintaining detailed progress records. This flexible, 1099 position requires about 37.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Special Education license/certification.
• Experience providing specially designed instruction in school settings.
• Proficient with instructional technology for virtual services.
• Fully virtual role with private workspace, secure internet, reliable computer and webcam.
• Available Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm, ~37.5 hours/week.
• 1099 contract starting at $38/hour with compensation for direct and indirect service time.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching license/certification in Colorado.
• School-based experience providing specially designed instruction and working with diverse student populations.
• Strong collaborative communication skills and proficiency with instructional technology for virtual services.
• Fully virtual with a dedicated private workspace, secure high-speed internet, reliable computer, and webcam.
• Availability Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm, minimum 37.5 hours/week.
• 1099 opportunity starting at $38/hour with compensation for both direct and indirect service time.
