Huddle Up is hiring virtual Special Education Teachers in New Mexico for the 26/27 school year. You will deliver virtual lessons to school-based students, implement IEPs with accommodations, and document progress using proprietary tools.

A valid Special Education credential and NM standing are required, with a US residence and willingness to work full-time during school hours. You must be comfortable with technology, collaborate with district teachers, and participate in IEP meetings while

We are currently hiring for virtual Special Education Teachers in New Mexico, for the 26/27 school year!

What You’ll Do:
Grow and invest in your skills, capabilities, and career, by delivering virtual Special Education lessons and support to school-based children across the nation, leveraging technology that includes proprietary tools to support and enable clinical care, in an environment that is flexible to your needs.

• Huddle up with school instructors and experienced educators to deliver outstanding special education instruction to students in need
• Deliver virtual lessons using instructional plans provided by the district classroom teacher
• Implement students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including applicable accommodations and modifications
• Collect data and document student progress toward established IEP goals
• Collaborate with district classroom teachers to support continuity of instruction and student services
• Able to commit to 35 hours per week, during school hours
• Hold an active, unrestricted, and valid special education teaching credential or license in your state of residence, and New Mexico in good standing
• Full-time resident of the United States
• Experience teaching special education lessons in a school setting (virtual preferred)
• Experience and comfortability with the use of various types of technology
• Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes
• Participate in IEP and team meetings
• Prepare progress reports as requested by the school and complete medicaid billing if necessary
• Access to a laptop (not chromebook) to conduct sessions virtually

Compensation:
This is a W2 employment opportunity. Exact compensation band is $35-$45 per hour. Exact hourly rate will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, geographical location, and other qualifications.
