Job summary

Fullmind offers remote school counseling opportunities nationwide for the 2026-27 school year through a 1099 contract. You’ll deliver virtual counseling and guide students toward course completion, following district calendars and requirements.

As a School Counselor, you will evaluate students, develop and implement intervention plans, document progress, and collaborate with families and school staff. ARIZONA certificate and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona School Counselor certificate required.
• In good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license.
• Experience using virtual platforms for assessment and IEP delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual school counselor services that support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth.
• Complete evaluations, assessments, and reports.
• Create and carry out intervention plans and recommendations.
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals as required by districts.
• Partner with families, school staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to align on student progress.
• Notify campus and district contacts of missed sessions or safety concerns.

Job description

$300-330 daily fee. Rates are negotiable and subject to change. Monday to Friday assignments. Fully Remote. 1099 Contract Opportunity

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind School Counselor, you will:

• Deliver virtual school counselor services that support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth
• Complete evaluations, assessments, and reports
• Create and carry out intervention plans and recommendations

• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require when required
• Partner with families, school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to keep everyone aligned on student progress
• Promptly notify campus and district contacts when a student misses a session, and immediately notify them of threats or safety concerns.

• Must have an active Arizona School Counselor certificate.
• Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license held
• Experience with virtual platforms for assessment and virtual delivery in a school/IEP context
• Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, private/distraction-free workspace.
• Comfort collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

This is a 1099 contract position; it does not include employee benefits. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and placement.
