Job summary

LINC Education seeks an experienced online educator (LINC Fellow) to support undergraduate online programs for international students with Australian and Asian partner universities. This independent contractor role focuses on early reading instruction, design of reading programs, and literacy assessment.

You will guide 20–25 online students, conduct 1:1 sessions, and provide long-form feedback on assignments, using the LMS and LINCtrac during daily evening hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Graduate Certificate /Graduate Diploma in Teaching, or PhD/EdD in Education.
• At least 3 years of relevant primary school teaching, research and/or professional experience in the last 10 years; experience teaching pre-service and/or in-service teachers preferred.
• Valid Teacher’s Registration in Australia (Victorian preferred) with knowledge of AITSL standards across career stages.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter guidance to a group of 20-25 undergraduate online students.
• Support in learning skills like academic writing, research and time management.
• Conduct 1:1 sessions for doubt-resolution, academic guidance and assessment draft reviews.
• Guidance on relevant reference material.
• Assessment marking with long-form feedback.
• Management of discussion forums and proactive student support.
