• Five or more years hands-on VMware platform engineering experience.

• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
• Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Summary:

The role covers vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu, with a focus on automation, capacity management, and the practical realities of operating a large VMware estate alongside modern cloud-native workloads. The ideal candidate has operated VMware platforms at enterprise scale, navigates the evolving VMware product landscape pragmatically, and brings strong automation and operations discipline.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of hands‑on VMware platform engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP credentials.

• Experience with Aria Operations / vRealize Operations.
• Exposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platforms.
