Job summary

Ampere Computing in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Virtual Platform Architect to craft virtual platform prototypes to accelerate software development and architecture analysis across internal teams. You will model hardware in C++/SystemC, write technical docs, collaborate from product roadmap to design, and help develop firmware/software for future products.

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5 years of related experience, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 0 years.
Proficiency in modeling computer systems in C++, SystemC, and Python.
Strong understanding of computer architecture principles and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

Deliver virtual platform prototypes to internal teams for software development and architecture analysis.
Develop functional hardware models in C++ or SystemC.
Create and maintain platform specifications and user guides.
Collaborate from product roadmap to design implementation.
Learn virtual platform models from seniors and assist in firmware/software development.
Develop automated software testing, debugging, and analysis systems.
Develop visualization tools to aid in debugging and analysis.
