Guidelight Health, Inc. is seeking a Virtual Per Diem Therapist (Days) to provide telehealth-based PHP/IOP services in a remote MST time zone. The role requires Colorado independent licensure and experience with group therapy in IOP/PHP settings.

You will support 1:1 and group sessions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a distributed team. The position offers per diem day shifts, with flexibility for coverage needs.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct psychological, biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations to determine client needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based interventions including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Monitor and document progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and physicians to provide coordinated care.
• Complete suicide risk assessments within defined time frames with proper thoroughness.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews to determine level of care.
• Identify community resources for treatment and aftercare planning.
• Adhere to standardized group curricula and treatment planning.
• Educate clients and families about mental health and behavioral issues; build rapport and trust.
• Prepare for weekly clinical supervision with client updates and case formulations.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Must be independently licensed as a therapist in the state of Colorado (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
  • Three years of post-independent licensure experience is highly preferred.
• Group Therapy: Experience providing Group Therapy is required. Virtual Group Therapy highly preferred.
• Setting: Experience working in IOP/PHP settings is preferred.

Schedule:

• Per Diem Expectations: Day shift Per Diem Therapists are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per month, and will not exceed 10 hours per week. PRN day shiftsschedule fall between 8:00am-4:30pm MST and are scheduled based on coverage needs. Primary responsibilities will include providing coverage for group therapy; however, there may be occasions when individual client support is needed based on client needs and clinical presentation.

RoleResponsibilities/Competencies:

• Conduct psychologicalandbiopsychosocialassessments and evaluations todetermineclients’ needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Monitor and document clients’ progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensiveandcontinuityofcare.
• Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.
• Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.
• Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships
• Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
• Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications

• Amaster’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid Colorado independent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses, as requested
• If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience providingbehavioral therapy,counselingandgroup therapy.
• Ability to manage clients effectively in virtual settings , including adapting interventions to a telehealth environment.
• Comfort and competence with technology , including navigating HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong engagement skills in a virtual space (ability to build rapport,maintaingroup cohesion, and intervene effectively when clients disengage).
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn telehealth best practices , including crisis response and safety planning in a remote setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while stayingclosely connectedto a distributed virtual team.
• Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive virtual group culture that mirrors the Guidelight client experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experiencefacilitatinggroup therapy in an IOP/PHP/RES/IP setting.
• Experience working virtually
• 3 years’ experience post independent licensure
