Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a part-time virtual Junior High teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The role focuses on grades 6-8 in ELA and/or Social Studies, with endorsements and a current K-8 General Education license, willingness to transfer reciprocity as needed.

Work is primarily asynchronous with 10 hours of availability between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. MT for meetings, IEPs, and staff gatherings. Eligible states include ID, IN, MS, ND, OK, TN, UT, WY; licensure transfer is required when applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year teaching experience preferred.
• Must be licensed with a K-8 General Ed license and willing to transfer/reciprocal license if license in other states.

Responsibilities

• Support students in grades 6-8 in ELA and/or Social Studies.
• Collaborate with families and provide guidance and resources using online tools.
• Maintain open communication with students and parents; complete grading and assessments as assigned.
