Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Spanish speakers are encouraged to act as standardized patients.
  • All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Portray patients with specific medical conditions or symptoms according to predefined scenarios.
  • Engage in authentic interactions with healthcare students or professionals to practice skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback based on performance using standardized assessment tools.
  • Attend training sessions to familiarize yourself with scenarios and histories.
  • Maintain professionalism and learner confidentiality.
  • Be adaptable to different patient roles and scenarios as required.
  • Collaborate with educators and coordinators to ensure smooth session execution.
