Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Staff RN VCT for the CP-NORTH HILLS HEALTH CENTER in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This on-site, 0.3 FTE role supports adult patients with high-acuity nursing care in a shift-2, 12-hour schedule.

Applicants need five years of critical care or equivalent experience, Wisconsin RN license, and ACLS/BLS readiness within the required timeframe. The position includes comprehensive Froedtert Health perks and partnership with MCW.

Qualifications

• Five years of critical care, or equivalent area of practice experience, is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; RN license required.
• Knowledge of hemodynamics and sepsis and their interventional treatments.

Responsibilities

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and clinical practice at a level generally acquired through completing a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION

Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment. Including a fundamental understanding of hemodynamics and sepsis and their related interventional treatments. Knowledge of bedside devices includes, but is not limited to, intra-aortic balloon pumps, continuous renal replacement therapy, 12-lead EKG interpretation, NIH Stroke Scale, ventricular assist devices, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION

Requires current, unrestricted, state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 90 days of hire. CCRN, CCRN-E, CSC, CMC, CNRN, CEN, TNCC, TNS, preferred.
