Civil West, part of the PCL family, offers a Virtual Design Student role in Phoenix, AZ. You will create and refine 3D models, support visualization tasks, and collaborate with project teams to communicate ideas and solve design challenges.

Incoming juniors/seniors will gain exposure to cutting-edge construction technologies, with opportunities across scheduling, preconstruction, estimating, safety, and more in a real-project setting.

Qualifikationen

• Incoming Junior or Senior in a 4-year or 2-year technical college, majoring in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and visual graphics tools.
• Experience with digital technology and equipment.
• Willingness to research, problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Aufgaben

• Utilize and perform 3D modeling to help our group better collaborate with districts and project teams.
• Conduct research and development tasks to support innovation initiatives.
• Explore, gain exposure, and help project teams with implementing cutting-edge construction technologies.
• Learn about and spend time with other groups within PCL like scheduling, preconstruction and estimating, safety, to name a few, to understand more about how PCL operates as a function of many parts.
