Naukri Mitra is seeking a Remote Career Growth Mentor to work one-on-one with professionals, turning a vague goal into a concrete plan. You'll guide clients through leadership prep, industry changes, and burnout recovery, helping them articulate next steps they truly believe in.
This fully remote role offers flexible scheduling, ongoing professional development, and a collaborative mentor community. You’ll support clients across various sectors, with measurable progress on milestones and
There's a specific kind of stuck that doesn't show up on a resume. Someone's good at their job, maybe even great at it, but they've hit a wall they can't quite name — not sure if they want the promotion, not sure if they're even in the right field anymore. As a Virtual Career Growth Mentor, you're the person they finally say that out loud to, and the one who helps them figure out what comes next.
You’ll work one-on-one with professionals over video, helping them turn a vague sense of “I want more” into an actual plan. Sometimes that’s someone prepping for their first leadership role. Sometimes it's a mid-career person quietly burning out and not sure how to say so. The common thread is that people come to you stuck, and they leave with a next step they actually believe in.
And yes — you’ll be there for the good moments too. The first confident presentation. The negotiation that actually worked. That promotion someone doubted they'd get.
A lot of people know they want something different but can't quite put it into words. Part of the job is helping them get specific — is it more responsibility they're after, a leadership track, or honestly just a saner work‑life balance? Once that’s clear, the plan becomes much easier to build. Remote work also has a way of making people doubt themselves more than they would in an office, simply because of the isolation. You’ll be the voice reminding someone of what they’re actually good at when they’ve lost sight of it, and helping them build the kind of confidence that doesn’t evaporate the second the call ends. And it’s not just about the first win. Plenty of people land the new role and then stall right after. Part of your job is making sure growth doesn’t stop the moment the immediate goal is met.
One mentor here found out a client had led their very first team meeting and, instead of just saying “great job” on the next call, mailed them a handwritten note. Small thing. The client kept it pinned above their desk for months. That’s not really a policy or a strategy — it’s just what happens when someone’s genuinely invested in another person’s growth. That’s the tone this role runs on.
You won’t be doing this solo. There’s a small community of other mentors who swap notes and approaches, plus a support team that handles the logistics — scheduling, notes, follow‑ups — so you can focus on the actual coaching. And you’ll work with clients across a wide range of industries, each bringing a completely different kind of challenge to the table.
This role pays $77,617 annually and is fully remote, with candidates welcome from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, India, and other eligible regions.
This isn’t a team that hoards what works. If a mentor figures out a new way to help someone through imposter syndrome, that approach gets shared rather than kept private. Roles like this one turn up through Naukri Mitra, among other channels, and the organizations posting them tend to share a similar philosophy — listening before advising, progress over perfection, and genuinely valuing small wins as much as big ones.
It’s not about ticking boxes. It’s clients using the plans you build together, people leaving sessions feeling steadier than when they arrived, and — every so often — someone telling you they finally look forward to Mondays again. That last one, honestly, is the best kind of feedback.
