Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Corporate Security Officer in Manhattan, NY. The role focuses on protecting people, property, and operations within a professional corporate setting, requiring vigilance, discretion, and effective communication.

The candidate will monitor access, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and collaborate with VIP protection teams while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed Security Officer.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a corporate security environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• New York State Security Guard License must be current and maintained.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the client's facility using security systems and procedures.
• Proactively observe and identify suspicious or concerning activity.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols and security checks.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security concerns promptly and professionally.
• Investigate security incidents and escalate as needed.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports with accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assist with reception and VIP coordination with the Executive Protection team.
• De-escalate challenging interactions; communicate with the client and security team.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Operate security equipment, radios, access control systems, and other tech.
• Support special projects and occasional after-hours work.
