Job summary

Music & Arts, now part of the Guitar Center enterprise, seeks a Music Teacher to create an engaging, supportive learning environment. You will teach music to students of varying ages, build relationships with families, and coordinate with store teams to promote lesson retention.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Music Education and have at least two years of teaching experience, with additional instruments a plus. Gig leave and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of music teaching experience, especially on violin and viola.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
• Share your musical expertise to inspire students and foster their growth.
